Ford requires that any 2024 Ranger (new body style) with accessories above the bedrails that exceed 99 lbs. be fitted with reinforcement brackets, also called a J-braces. Our aftermarket J-brace, part number RA039842 fits ALL trim levels, including the Raptors. A J-brace MUST be installed before any racks, tents, or other accessories weighing 88 lbs. or more. If a J-brace is not installed correctly, this will negatively impact your vehicle factory warranty. Please consult your Owner’s Manual for more information.
