Description

The clockspring kit for the S650 Mustang is going to come in two varieties.  

This option is going to be for those who do have an automatic transmission (with paddles on the steering wheel) and are not concerned with losing the functionality of the paddle shifters.  

If you have a manual trans (no paddles on the steering wheel), I have not tested my brackets on those steering wheels.  Brackets may or may not work on manual applications.  

This kit will come with a similar wiring kit to the S550 Mustang and 2021+ F150 clock spring kits.  This kit will enable up to 3 low current channels through the clockspring, allowing for easy signals to pass through.  With the 3 channels, you can easily install 2 buttons with the optional brackets and buttons on either the left or right side of the steering wheel and provide a low current ground or 12v signal to activate devices of your choice.  If hooking up to high current devices (trans brake solenoid, line lock, etc) an external relay will be required to avoid burning out the signal paths. 

The second option will be for those that have an automatic transmission and require keeping the functionality of the paddle shifters.  If you do have heated steering wheel, this kit will require the deletion of the heated steering wheel functionality.  

This kit will come with a modified SCCM/clockspring assembly, allowing up to 4 channels to pass through the clocks spring.  Two of the channels are going to be high current, allowing direct connection of the buttons to a transbrake solenoid or similar (one channel will be source, ie ground or 12v, and the other channel will be the output, so only one button can be high current) The other two channels will be low current.  

Currently we will be offering two bracket positions for the steering wheel, left and right, as in past Mustang applications.  You will need to trim the back cover of the steering wheel to fit the brackets.
