17-25 f150 rear bumpers are a 2 piece design, the plastic step clips into the hitch from the factory. This bracket bolts to the bumpers and gives the step somewhere to clip into when using hitch delete brackets or our parachute mount! without this bracket your plastic step will not be supported in the middle and will flop around.
