Hot side Spec:
Instead of making the stainless cast manifold an option like the twin system, we are making it standard in our single turbo kit. Our system uses a tweaked version of our forward facing manifolds that have already been proven over 1300rwhp. One of the most important aspects to the turbo kit is that we wanted to retain the factory kmember and not require an aftermarket tubular unit. Connecting to the turbo manifolds is a 304ss 2.5″ merge pipe to route exhaust gases to your turbo. In order to have optimal control over boost, we integrated dual On 3 Performance 44mm wastegates. This allowed us to dial the boost in all the way down to 6psi and hold steady. Both gates are vented to atmosphere and this sounds amazing.
We then have several options for downpipes that you will find in our optional parts section. When ordering your kit, you will need to select if you want the full 4.0″ downpipe with your kit or the optional race exhaust. The race exhaust is a bumper exit downpipe and does require you to cut a hole in the bumper should you decide to go this route.
Exiting the turbo, our downpipe transitions to 4.0″ to help keep drive pressure as low as possible. Many people know the Coyote platform flows a lot of air and valve float becomes an issue. So in order to combat this, we were able to design a full 4″ system through the factory suspension. You will have to remove the front sway bar but our kit will not require a kmember upgrade like most of the kits on the market.
Cold Side Specs:
Our cold side design is trick, its constructed from 6061 aluminum and all bead rolled tubing. Coming out of the turbo, its 3.0″ tubing from turbo to the intercooler. Out of the intercooler we have a small 3.0″ section then transitioned to 3.5 up to your intake manifold. We offer 2 options for your charge pipe, one being a stock intake charge pipe and the other being for cars running the Boss intake manifold. Note, when ordering your turbo system, YOU MUST select which intake you are running so we ship you the correct charge pipe.
To mount the intercooler, we went above and beyond to make this a clean and easy install. We designed a custom bumper support that removes the factory unit and constructed from 6061 aluminum to offset some of the added weight. This has our intercooler mounting points integrated into it for a clean finished product. Coming standard with each kit, we include the On 3 Performance 4″ race core bar and plate intercooler. This has been proven on our shop car to support 830rwhp and keep the IAT in check.
To make each connection, we supply our On 3 Performance 5 ply silicone couplers. Then to secure each in place, you will receive our stainless t-bolt clamps for the optimal 360 degree clamping. One other great feature is that we correctly sized the intercooler tubing to bolt the factory mass air meter in place. No need to spend $400+ on an extended range maf’. The flange is already pre-welded in place
Performance Specs:
We have designed our kit around one of the nicest and most powerful turbochargers we have produced to date. Our new 2nd Gen On 3 Performance 76mm which features a CNC billet wheel, 4″ anti-surge inlet compressor cover and 3.0″ outlet. This powerful turbo had no problem keeping back pressure to a minimum with our testing and yielded us 830 rear wheel horsepower at 15psi during testing. At this time we did not feel the need to push this turbo option any further but confident it will still have no problem making more power. Anything over this power level, we would recommend the customer to upgrade and go with our On 3 Performance 88mm turbo option. This is more focused toward the person trying to make 850+ rwhp and not your average street car. During testing we did dyno our shop car with the On 3 88mm turbo and 13psi and made 810rwhp. Keep in mind this will be slightly slower into boost but easily cover the 850 – 1000HP span.
For the person looking looking for the most powerful and highest HP option, we are doing a T6 option. Its going to utilize one of our newest designed turbos with a cast stainless steel v-band entry turbo. This is going to keep our turbocharger around 12lbs lighter than most compatible units on the market. The turbo itself is more compact and yet still will flow the same volume of air when compared to a traditional massive 4 bolt T6 housing
A huge benefit to our design is that we were able to design around the factory Kmember. This makes for a much easier bolt on kit and saves a ton of time in labor. Its not to say you cannot run tubular suspension to drop weight but this is not required with our system.
You will also notice we have a few different exhaust options that you can go with. Each kit is going to contain the full 4.0″ turbo back exhaust that gets you to the over the axle(catback) connection. We also see the popular trend of guys wanting to run the bumper exit style exhaust which clearly is a more race inspired option. This is completely a personal preference and selection should be made depending on what you are building the accomplish. Keep in mind if you plan to run full exhaust, you MUST have an upgraded axle back system. If you attempt to run full exhaust through stock mufflers, your going to create a massive restriction which will drive back pressure through the roof. On our test car, we run a muffler delete system so we have zero restrictions. You will also find we offer an Over the Axle tubing upgrade that will eliminate the factory resonator pipes. We also run this on our shop car and highly recommend this option as well. You can select it while checking out in our upgrade item list.
