The BSF S550 Tube Front Kit was designed with 2 things in mind, saving weight and adding space! The fender support bars aren't the typical bar that you would see in other company's tube front kits, these bars stay tucked up under the fender for a nice clean open look. By doing this we do not have to add big ugly bars or tabs to support the fender itself, the actual bar does so. This allows for weight savings and also gains as much engine bay space as possible to make room for turbos, fuel cells, etc. On a 2018 Mustang we were able to remove 65lbs out of the front of the car and with our tube kit weighing only 12lbs that's a total weight savings of 53lbs!! The kits come with all additional hardware needed to install and reuses some of the factory bolts so the painted bolts that hold the top of the fender on will still match your factory paint. The support tabs that come with the kit will have extra length so the customer/installer will be able to trim to fit their specific application. Fender bars and main support bars will be tig welded to their mounting plate so installer will have to weld the plates to the car after cutting railing and weld the fender bars to the main bar. Fender bars and strut tower bars come pre-notched so it is a ready to weld together kit!
